I have been living here for almost two years. The girlies at the leasing office are great! Shout out to Emma and Christina! Maintenance guys are so respectful and polite. They are always quick to get to maintenance requests! The community is generally quiet. Plenty of parking. Never have had an issue. Thanks Meadowood Apts!

Meadowood Apartments just sent out a notice reminding residents to take down their Christmas decorations because “the holiday is over.” What’s really over is my patience with this management team. While they’re busy policing wreaths and string lights, they’ve said nothing about the recent car break-ins and catalytic converter thefts happening right here in the complex. No alerts. No safety updates. No action. Just silence. And when a letter is sent out, they say it’s your problem. Incredible. It’s embarrassing to live in a place that prioritizes curb appeal over community safety. Residents are being targeted, and management is more concerned with how the property looks than how secure it is. That’s not just tone-deaf it’s irresponsible. If Meadowood wants to maintain appearances, maybe they should start by protecting the people who live here. Until then, this place is all sparkle and no substance.

I've lived here for years and it's been great for my family. I don't even want to think about how much they spent renovating the entire place between all of the woodwork and concrete work. Then resurfacing the parking lot (was not a lot of fun for a couple of days). When we had ac trouble they had someone working on it the next day, ended up replacing it on the hvac guys recommendation. And whenever we have had any issues, Nacho and Gonzalo are ON it, pretty sure they have been taking care of this place for decades. If you're not buying a house and plan on renting an apartment, especially if you need to drive west from Corona, I definitely recommend Meadowood.

Today was annual property inspection. Gonzalo The Property maintenance Tech came through and did an excellent job. I work from home therefore it’s important when the maintenance guys in it’s quick; efficient and quiet, Gonzalo did exactly that! I had a couple of questions he was able to answer them. I had a maintenance item that needs to be taken care of, and he said he can come by and take care of it later in the week. Thanks again!

I’ve never written a review like this before, but people need to know: Meadowood Apartments is not a safe place…especially for women. The complex itself is rundown and neglected. They call it “the manager special,” which just means everything is painted over..light switches, outlets, hinges, you name it. The paint peels, the fixtures are outdated, and the apartments feel slapped together. Spiders are everywhere, and theft from patios is common. But none of that compares to the real issue: Gonzalo… Gonzalo is a maintenance worker here, and while he may do his job during 9–5, what happens after hours is disturbing. He and his wife sit outside watching residents, including children, tracking who gets out of their cars, who comes and goes. Gonzalo walks the property constantly, not just for work, but to stare into windows, through blinds, and into people’s personal space I have seen it myself, my family living here has seen it, and my visiting family has questioned it. As a woman, I feel watched. I feel hunted. I feel unsafe. Every time I step outside, he’s there. Turning his head, breaking his neck to stare. Eyeing me when I walk to my car, when I take out the trash, when I simply exist. It’s not just uncomfortable, it’s invasive. It’s creepy. And it’s relentless. ITS INAPPROPRIATE. During inspections, he seemed more interested in finding fault with my unit than addressing the actual problems. The apartment itself is falling apart, yet he nitpicks tenants like he’s on a mission. I’ve never had issues with any other maintenance worker, just him. Definitely not legal to be working after hours either. I’m afraid to speak to management or ownership because retaliation feels real here. But I shouldn’t have to live in fear. I shouldn’t have to scan the property before stepping outside. I shouldn’t have to feel like I’m being watched in my own home. If you’re a woman, a parent, or anyone who values privacy and safety, please think twice before moving here. No one deserves to feel this way. At least until this specific man LEAVES. I hope this is brought to the owners attention and really decide how this is doing good for their tenants. Who knows how long this man has been this way and who else he has made uncomfortable. There needs to be a serious discussion with Gonzalo. Edit 09/24/2025: Thank you for your reply, but I respectfully disagree with the way my concerns were dismissed. Longevity in a role does not excuse inappropriate behavior. The fact that this individual has worked here for 20 years makes it even more concerning! how many residents have felt unsafe but stayed silent? My review wasn’t about routine maintenance or emergency calls. It was about persistent, invasive behavior that goes far beyond professional duties. Walking the property to check lights is not the same as lingering outside units, watching residents, and staring into windows every time you walk by. I’ve witnessed this firsthand, and so have my family members. It’s not a one time incident…it’s a pattern. And it’s not just uncomfortable, it’s threatening. I understand your desire to defend your staff, but ignoring tenant safety concerns, especially those involving women and children, is not professionalism. It’s negligence. I’m not the only one who’s noticed this behavior, and I’m speaking up because others may be afraid to. I urge ownership and management to take these reports seriously. Safety and privacy should never be compromised, and tenants should never feel watched in their own homes. Edit: 09/28/2025 Now their own team is leaving reviews for themselves that’s funny. They still are not taking my concerns seriously and that goes to show how they DO NOT take safety concerns seriously. Inspections were 2 weeks ago not 2 days as the most previous review stated, thus it’s incorrect. Shame on this place. Do not stay here! Red flags everywhere trust the reviews that state this place is sketch, because it is. Ignore paid 5 star reviews.
